"Emelia’s determination to improve this year has been incredibly exciting to watch. She comes into the gym every week with a genuine drive to become a better gymnast and is always looking for ways to get the most out of every training session. One of the things I admire most about Emelia is just how coachable she is. I can always count on her to ask questions, clarify corrections and relay feedback back to me to make sure she has the best possible understanding of what she
needs to do to improve. She is an absolute sponge when it comes to coaching – she soaks up everything I tell her and makes a conscious effort to apply every little detail to her training. The improvement I have seen in Emelia throughout this year has been outstanding, and it is a direct reflection of the effort, determination and attention to detail she brings to the gym each week. One of my favourite moments this month was watching her face light up when she found out she had qualified for the State Championships. As her coach, it gave me such a sense of pride because I knew that, in that moment, she could see for herself just how much all of her hard
work was paying off. Emelia should be incredibly proud of everything she has achieved this year. Her determination, willingness to learn and constant drive to improve make her extremely deserving of a Member of the Month nomination. I am so excited to see what she continues to achieve!"

It’s hard to put into words what a decade at a community club truly means. Ten years isn’t just a number—it’s thousands of hours spent in the gym, countless skills learned, competitions attended, friendships formed, challenges overcome, laughter shared, and memories that will last a lifetime.Over the past decade, we’ve watched these three incredible young women grow from gymnasts into role models, leaders and coaches.
They’ve experienced the highs of personal achievements, the disappointment of setbacks, and everything in between, always showing resilience, passion and an unwavering love for our club.
Today, they help inspire the next generation of gymnasts, passing on the same encouragement, kindness and knowledge that was once given to them. Seeing that full-circle journey is something truly special and is what makes community sport so meaningful.
To Hannah, Katie and Scarlett—thank you for choosing AGC to be part of your story for the past 10 years. Thank you for your commitment, your friendships, your countless hours of training, support, volunteering and coaching, and for helping shape the culture that makes our club so special.

What a night!
We had the best time at our first GWA Awards night. We are incredibly proud to have been nominated for the Sylvia P Club of the Year and to Scarlett Clare for Rookie coach of the year. We look forward to bigger & better things in 2026!
