MEMBER OF THE MONTH!

Please read Ava's nomination: "Ava showed an incredible amount of courage, determination and perseverance in class recently when she began working on a brand-new skill — an Arabian Salto! An Arabian can be a particularly daunting skill to attempt for the first time, as it combines two different types of rotation. Despite the challenge, Ava didn’t let that stop her. She gave it her absolute best from the very first attempt and even came incredibly close to landing the skill on her first day of working it! What stood out most wasn’t just how close Ava came to landing it, but her attitude throughout the entire process. With every attempt, she was determined to get back to her feet. Each time she fell, she simply picked herself back up with an even bigger desire to try again. There was no giving up — just another attempt, another adjustment and another step closer! That kind of resilience is exactly what gymnastics is all about. Learning new skills doesn’t always happen on the first try, but Ava demonstrated that having the courage to keep getting back up is just as important as landing the skill itself. We can’t wait to see Ava continue working on her Arabians, and we have no doubt she’ll be absolutely nailing them in no time!

It’s hard to put into words what a decade at a community club truly means. Ten years isn’t just a number—it’s thousands of hours spent in the gym, countless skills learned, competitions attended, friendships formed, challenges overcome, laughter shared, and memories that will last a lifetime.Over the past decade, we’ve watched these three incredible young women grow from gymnasts into role models, leaders and coaches.
They’ve experienced the highs of personal achievements, the disappointment of setbacks, and everything in between, always showing resilience, passion and an unwavering love for our club.
Today, they help inspire the next generation of gymnasts, passing on the same encouragement, kindness and knowledge that was once given to them. Seeing that full-circle journey is something truly special and is what makes community sport so meaningful.
To Hannah, Katie and Scarlett—thank you for choosing AGC to be part of your story for the past 10 years. Thank you for your commitment, your friendships, your countless hours of training, support, volunteering and coaching, and for helping shape the culture that makes our club so special.

What a night!
We had the best time at our first GWA Awards night. We are incredibly proud to have been nominated for the Sylvia P Club of the Year and to Scarlett Clare for Rookie coach of the year. We look forward to bigger & better things in 2026!
